The High School Tennis Club was organized in the
fall of 1910, for the benefit of those who desired to take
the beneficial exercise of playing. In the fall of 1912 this
club was reorgainzed with twelve charter members. More were
permitted to enjoy the privileges as the year advanced. A
suitable spot was selected and two courts were made with the
asistance of the principal, who kindly donated nets. At
present there are fifteen memgers with ten dollars in the
treasury. (No names were given for photo)
