Site Three is located along Expressway 83 and Hidalgo St. This site has two medium size bridges that connect Expressway 83 from one side of the resaca to other. Also, two large empty areas embank the resaca here. One significant feature here is that the resaca curves in this area. The water had a slightly brownish appearance. A slow-moving current was noticed here, due to the open area where the wind blows more freely. The vegetation at this site consisted of weeds and long green pompus grass growing along the resaca bank and bridge support beams.
