Site One is located along Highway 77 and and North Shore St. This is an extremely busy location with traffic and pedestrians. The city park is also located in this area. A small bridge connects Highway 77 from one end of the resaca to the other. The water at this site looked greenish brown, it contained many dry tree branches, dry weeds and grass, and various forms of garbage, such as bottles, cans, plastics and paper. All of this debris was mainly compressed along the resaca bank and the bridge support beams.
