Dancing With the Devil

Told By: Juanita Rios

Written By: Sarah Elyse Corona

One Tuesday night there was a girl named Lucy. She lived with her mother and brother. She wanted to go to a dance, but her mother wouldn't let her go. She wanted to go so badly that she snuck out through her window. At about 10 o'clock, she saw this handsome man. His name was Pedro. Her boyfriend wouldn't let her dance with him, but she danced with him anyway. She danced and danced until her feet were sore. She looked at Pedro's feet and saw that one was a rooster's foot and the other was a horse's hoof. She wanted to stop dancing, but "Pedro" wouldn't let her. He "took her home" after the dance, and she never showed up to her house. The next day they found her body on the side of the road. She had three claw marks on her body. Lucy died in her white satin gown. People claim they still see her dancing with Pedro.
