In Santa Cruz, a small town near Rio Grande City,in 1875, a man by the name of Cesario Balderas went looking for his cow in the hills. He found a cave with a treasure chest inside filled to the rim. The treasure was too heavy so he put as much gold in his pockets as he could. When he went to the exit it closed before him. Then he heard a voice that said "All or Nothing." So he emptied his pockets and took nothing. Then he went back to the town and told all the people there about the cave. Nobody believed him until he showed them his pockets which were lined with gold dust. He later went back to find the cave again but never found it.
