About 100 years ago, deep in South Texas, a farmer named Senor Montez came running out of his farm terrified. When people tried to ask him what was wrong, all he said was, "Get me out of here!" Suddenly, a giant bird-type creature flew overhead. No one ever saw it again after that. 20 years later, Mr. Montez's son was tending to some cattle. He heard a sound. It was the bird-like creature coming to forage for food! Now, he knew why his dad went mad.

Mr. Montez's son ran into the house and looked out the window. The creature scared the cattle so much, they tried to run! They didn't get very far! The creature picked up a cow, plucked its eyes put and ate them. One by one!

After the creature was finished with the cattle, it needed more. He spotted Mr.Montez's son looking at him. It went to attack.

No one knows what happened to him or it. The creature never appeared again. Some say he was eaten. Others say he escaped. What do you think?
