The most popular birding
location is the east side of Falcon Dam on the Texas side. Take a
paved road to the left (south) off the road to the dam to the parking
lot overlooking the spillway. It is about a one mile hike downriver
from the parking lot. If you don't find what you're looking for, try
Chapeno Falls, Salineno, Santa Matgarita Ranch, and/or Fronton, all
immediately along US 83.
